The CILU Heidelberg 1700T/D clinker production line is located in Lukala, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, 220 kilometers away from Kinshasa, the capital. It is designed and contracted by Tianjin Cement Design and Research Institute. The restoration and construction of the kiln system will start on November 29, 2017. We are mainly responsible for this part of the steel structure, non-standard, piping, road insulation and electromechanical equipment installation; our personnel started to enter the site at the end of March. The main work in the early stage is the production of preheater and silo bodies; the preparatory work includes tower crane assembly and tower lifting, on-site temporary electricity laying, etc. So far, the electrical part can be installed; the pulverized coal silo part can be installed, and the kiln tail tower has been prepared before construction.
